Question by mwah: how often should you text a guy?
so i like this guy and he likes me back. i know this because he told me. but we wanna hang out first a little more before we go out. but the other day we texted for about 9 hours straight. yea i know long time. but when i text him sometimes he doesnt answer. i know hes probably busy. i just want to know how often you should text a guy or wait for him to text you. i just want to know if im being clingy.

once a day for 1 hour max. you want him to come to you!
Wait for him to text you back. If it becomes like a whole night(5-6 hours) then maybe I would give him a call or text him. If he stops, then he’s busy.
dont worry about it. text whenever you want just dont get upset at him for not answering. NEVER question him about not talking to you.
Text him once maybe every 3 days, and wait for him to text back. You want to seem unavailable, because it’ll make him chase you. If you guys are taking time to get to know each other before you go out, this means he could get to know OTHER girls as well. Trust me, no matter how much you think he probably won’t see other girls, you have to be careful. He’s got a guy’s mind, he can do whatever. Don’t chase him. Any sign of that will make you sound clingy. Make him chase YOU.

If you know he is busy, then don’t trip on him not texting back right away …
I would be more considered that when you finally go on a date (face to face) there wont be anything left to TALK about, because you’ve already texted everything … LOL …
Text him once… If he has not texted you, then for him to text back. If he does not respond, text back once. Then wait. If he does not respond, then do not push the issue because it may irritate him. You do not want to TMT (Text Message Terrorize) him, because it could get on his nerves and you are not a terrorist. Right? Right!
Allow him to persue you. Personally, I do not initiate texts more than once every other day; which allows him plenty of time to intitiate communication with me and persue me. When he does, he is often curious as to what I have been doing that has kept my time mysteriously busy!
I think you texting him 2 times a day is good enough. And then when he text you always return his text.

It’s okay. I have had the same problem also. I feel like sometimes I am being annoying and they are like “great, it’s her AGAIN =/” This is my rule of thumb…If he replies to you with “k” or “ya” or “oh” or something short and sweet. Don’t reply back. Cause A) He could be busy or B) He is bored with the conversation. So take a break (and give your fingers a break) and put the phone down. If he wants to talk to you…He will text you another time. If he doesn’t text you at all that day or the next…text him at night. Between 7:30-9. My guy friend told me that he always texts a girl between that time because she probably got down eating and now she is just relaxing. Then text him “Hey whats up?” or text him something that reminds you of him. Hope this helped.

i believe he will text you for 9 hrs straight because he likes the conversation, however if he was really into you he would just call.
if a guy likes you he will hang out with you right away and get to know you that way, not through a 9 hr text
