If the conversation doesn’t carry on naturally I don’t think it’s meant to be. And really texting girls? Let me guess I bet you do Facebook too or something. Why not try having a real conversation with a girl in person? It’s much more personal and lasting. Get the balls to ask one of them out to the mall or the park if you’re so concerned. If you did that they’d be a lot more impressed. Besides in person conversations aren’t just dialogue, there’s body language and facial expressions which can potentially be a lot easier to manage and be a lot more sincere.

some rules
Rule 1. Never laugh in text. (i.e. lol, ha ha, etc) Smiley faces are acceptable in moderation.
Rule 2. When texting, make sure your message creates emotion. Saying “Whats up” is boring. Telling her that you saw something funny that reminded you of her creates curiosity. (Of course you should have a real answer to satisfy her curiosity) Get it?
Rule 3. It’s OK to tease a little. Don’t come off as being a complete jerk though. Creating a challenge and forcing her to earn you approval works 10 times better than being the “nice guy”. Asking her to lunch is again, boring. Instead, tell her that she should come to lunch with you, as long as she doesn’t embarrass you.
Rule 4. You are always busy, even when you are not. Always responding back immediately can send the wrong message like you are needy. Waiting a few minutes, hours, or days says your time is valuable and increases your status.
