Other than “I love you”, what are some sweet things that a girl texts you that makes you smile?

things like… good morning, good night, how was your day? it shows that you are thinking about them and want to hear about their life which makes them feel good.

If you want to make a guy smile, tell a joke.
Don’t ask him about his day. Don’t compliment him. Especially if you two haven’t been dating for a while, or even going out. Ask him really random stuff. Don’t get cute first, let him get cute first. He might think you’re clingy.

well personally i like it when a girl randomly says “i miss you”, or franlkly when they respond quickly to my texts. also lots of smilie faces. if you think of something that makes you say “awe!!!” then that will make any guy do the same.
My girlfriend just texted me out of no where to say goodnight. Granted she left my house at 9 and told me goodnight at 10:30, it still made me smile because i knew she was thinking of me. So just little things like that.
titles to songs you like.
that is simple. if hes busy….he can ignore it….if hes bored…he can look it up. it can be sweet, funny, anything you want. and it shows you are thinking of him. it works ESPECIALLY well if he likes music.
also you could send him jokes or interesting web page addresses.
This is a very fine line and it has to vary greatly from guy to guy…One thing I will let you know from personal experience that no matter what you text, if you are the first person to text us, we will automatically think that you are interested in us. So I would stay away from that unless you want to make it obvious that you want the guy.
Second I will let you know that any sort of text that involves the word love is a no go. I got really freaked out when this chick who is a pretty close friend said “we need to hang out more I miss you and love you!” We haven’t hung out since.
So now onto the thing that girls can text that do make me smile and I imagine most guys…just respond to our initial text (remember, don’t text guys first, it is our job to text you, and when reversed the world turns upside down) with a text of SIMILAR length…and respond as soon as you possibly can. Nothing gets guys more angry than playing games with texts. I don’t know what goes through girls minds…actually I do: “OMG, I can’t respond to quick then he’ll think I like him, but I kinda do like him, how long should I take to respond. Should I respond saying I was doing something when he sent the text, and respond like an hour later?”
Just respond and throw in a few compliments here and there…chill out with the smiley faces..No guy wants to see thousands of smiley faces.
